5.2 AI Processing
When you use an AI feature, the prompt and relevant context are sent to the configured AI service, currently Groq API, to generate an educational response. Signed-in conversations may also be saved to your account so you can return to them.
- Do not enter passwords, payment details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information in chat
- Provider processing is governed by the provider's own terms and privacy policy
- Signed-in chat history can be associated with your account; aggregate quality events are designed to exclude prompt and answer text
- AI output can be incomplete or wrong and must not be treated as personalised financial advice
6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

7. Data Storage and Security
7.1 Where Data May Be Processed
TradeProview and its service providers may process data in Australia, the United States, and other countries where those providers operate. Privacy protections may differ between jurisdictions.
7.2 Security Measures
- Password hashing rather than storing readable passwords
- HTTPS for production traffic
- Secure, HTTP-only session cookies in production
- Rate limits, input validation, access controls, and administrative audit logging
- No internet service can guarantee absolute security; report concerns through the Support Centre
7.3 Data Retention
- Account and saved content: Kept while needed to provide the account or until deleted, subject to legal, security, and backup constraints
- Resolved support records: Scheduled for removal after approximately two years
- Page-view and aggregate product events: Scheduled for removal after approximately 400 days
- Administrative audit records: May be retained for up to 24 months for security and accountability
- Signed-in chat history: May remain with the account until the conversation or account is deleted
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding personal data:

Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
8.2 Right to Rectification
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
8.3 Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")

- Essential Cookies: Session management, authentication (required for platform functionality)
- Analytics technologies: Used where configured to understand aggregate site use and improve the platform
9.2 Third-Party Cookies
Some pages load Google AdSense and may use Google advertising cookies, local storage, device identifiers, or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and—where permitted—personalisation. Google Analytics may also be enabled through site configuration. These providers process data under their own policies.

TradeProview is not intended for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that such data was collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, TradeProview will rely on provider terms and lawful transfer mechanisms and will take reasonable steps appropriate to the data and service involved.
